Refund Policy - Tax Preparation Services
At Refund Doc Solutions, we are committed to providing accurate and professional tax preparation services. Due to the nature of tax preparation work and the time, analysis, and professional effort involved, the following refund policy applies:
- Fees for tax preparation services are earned as work is performed.
- Once tax return preparation has begun, fees are generally non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued after a tax return has been electronically filed or submitted to the client for review.
- Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. We are not responsible for delays, reduced refunds, penalties, or additional tax liabilities resulting from incomplete, incorrect, or omitted information provided by the client.
- If a return must be amended due to client-provided errors or omissions, additional fees may apply.
- Refunds or credits may be considered only in cases where services were paid for but not substantially started.
Accuracy Commitment
We strive to prepare accurate tax returns based on the information provided by the client. If an error is caused solely by our preparation mistake, we will work with the client to correct the issue at no additional preparation fee. This does not include reimbursement of IRS or state penalties, interest, or other related costs unless required by law.
Refund Policy – Tax Resolution Services and IRS Representation Services
Tax resolution services involve professional analysis, document preparation, negotiation, and administrative work performed on behalf of the client. Because these services begin immediately upon engagement, fees paid for tax resolution services are generally non-refundable.
1. Non-Refundable Services Include:
- Initial consultations and case evaluations
- IRS account analysis and transcript reviews
- Preparation of IRS forms and supporting documentation
- Tax resolution strategy development
- Communications with the IRS or state tax agencies
- Installment agreement, penalty abatement, innocent spouse, or offer in compromise preparation and submission
2. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Tax resolution outcomes are determined solely by the IRS and/or state taxing authorities. We do not guarantee:
- Specific refund amounts
- Removal of penalties or interest
- Acceptance of settlement offers
- Release of levies or garnishments
- Any specific resolution outcome
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
- Provide truthful and complete information
- Respond promptly to document requests
- Remain compliant with current filing and payment requirements
Failure to cooperate or provide requested documentation does not qualify the client for a refund.
4. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel future services at any time by written request. However, fees for work already completed, administrative processing, and time spent on the case remain non-refundable.
5. Refund Policy
All service fees are earned as work is performed. Due to the professional nature of tax preparation and tax resolution services, fees are generally non-refundable once services have begun. No guarantees are made regarding tax refunds, IRS resolutions, or specific outcomes. Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information.
